As I am writing this Basingstoke is in the grips of 20cm of snow, so now is a perfect time to remind you that your car should be ready for winter. You can do this by checking your car battery with a battery tester. If you haven't changed your car battery recently, then it could be tired, and the cold weather could mean the battery doesn’t work properly. Other things you can do to make sure that your car is winter-ready is check antifreeze & screen wash levels. Get some winter tyres fitted as well as checking that all of your cars exterior lights are functioning.
